Ambulance employees are on strike from tomorrow to demand the release of arrears. Hence, it is being said that the state-wide ambulance service will be suspended from tomorrow. Due to this, there is a fear of creating a health emergency in the state.
GVK, which provides ambulance services in the state, has arrears of salary for two months. Due to this, the employees' union was outraged and they gave a deadline to pay the wages. The employees' union has warned that if the salary is not paid by tomorrow evening, they will stop the ambulance service and stage a protest.
In this regard, Paramashivaiah, State Vice President of 108 Ambulance Employees' Union, who spoke to reporters, said that since the last two months, GVK, which has been providing ambulance services in the state, has arrears of salary. Employees are facing hardship without salary. Many times in the past, the release of salary was requested, but it was not given. In this background, he warned that the ambulance service will be suspended if the salary is not paid by tomorrow evening.
Due to this, if there is any health emergency in the state, the GVK organization will be directly responsible for it. The government has already released the money. The organization also has money. The government has also given direction to the organization. It is said that the GVK organization will pay the salary by this evening
